Those marriages that do last are not guarantees of happiness. Often times individuals remain in relationships due to children, finances, religion, etc. With this perfect storm of marital doom, how do people create and maintain a mutually happy relationship? What are the secrets to a successful marriage? While we can tout our own horn after 20 plus years of being together and married for about 15 of those years now- it was not always a simple road. It's been very rocky and turbulent at times. But true love in individuals who care so deeply about the other can last and be extremely happy.
